Gallery Tokens are one of the most useful rewards in FC 27 Ultimate Team because they can be exchanged for special rewards in the Gallery Token Store, including Base Hall of FUT Player Items. If you are new to FUT Gallery, the system may seem complicated at first, but earning Tokens is actually quite straightforward once you understand how Sets and Grades work.
The key is to stop thinking about Gallery Sets as collections that require you to permanently keep every player. Once an eligible Player Item has passed through your club, it can remain recorded in your Gallery even after you sell it. This makes it possible to build Sets, earn Tokens, and then recover much of the value of your cards.
How Do You Earn Gallery Tokens?
Gallery Tokens are primarily earned by grading Gallery Sets.
Every Set has its own requirements and reward structure. After filling a Set with eligible Player Items, you can receive a Grade from D to S. Higher Grades provide better rewards, and some of the higher Grades award additional Gallery Tokens.
The exact Token reward depends on the Set. Some smaller Sets may offer only a few Tokens, while larger or more difficult Sets can provide considerably more.
This means you should not look at every Set in the same way. A Set that looks attractive because it has a large maximum reward may not be the most efficient place to spend your coins.
Instead, look for Sets where you can reach a useful Grade without spending too much.
Your First Tokens Should Come From Easy Sets
For beginners, the best starting point is usually Sets that can be completed with players you already own.
Open FUT Gallery and check which Sets you can fill immediately. Starter and smaller club-based Sets are particularly useful because their requirements are usually easier to satisfy.
After filling the Set, check your Grade and Token reward. If you can reach a higher Grade by replacing only a few low-scoring players, that upgrade may be worth making.
You should also pay attention to Tags. Same League, Same Nation, First Owner and other bonuses can increase your score and help you reach a higher Grade without simply buying the most expensive cards.
You Can Buy Players and Sell Them Again
One of the most useful Gallery mechanics is that eligible cards remain recorded after leaving your club.
For example, you can buy several inexpensive players from the Transfer Market with your FC 27 Coins, store them in your club, and then use them to complete a Gallery Set.
After the Set has been graded, you can list those players again.
Selling them does not erase their Gallery history. This means your actual cost can be much lower than the total amount you spend buying the players, although Transfer Market tax and price changes still matter.
This is one of the easiest ways to build Tokens without relying entirely on pack luck.
How Set Grades Affect Your Token Income
The D-to-S system is important because not every completed Set gives the same amount of Tokens at every Grade.
A typical progression works like this:
D → C → B → A → S
As you improve the Set, additional rewards become available. Some Sets may provide no Tokens at lower Grades but begin awarding them at B, A or S.
Because of this, reaching the highest possible Grade is not always necessary. If an inexpensive Set gives useful Tokens at A, spending a large amount just to reach S may not be efficient.
Always compare the extra Token reward with the additional cost of upgrading the Set.
First Owner Cards Can Save You Coins
First Owner cards are particularly valuable in Gallery because they can activate the First Owner Tag.
Cards obtained from packs, Objectives and other eligible rewards can therefore be more useful than their basic Item Score suggests.
Before buying players from the Transfer Market, check your club carefully. You may already have enough First Owner cards to activate a Tag and push a Set into the next Grade.
This is one of the easiest ways to improve your Token income without spending additional FC 27 Coins.
How to Get Hall of FUT Players
Once you have collected enough Gallery Tokens, head to the Gallery Token Store.
The Store uses Tokens instead of normal coins for its featured rewards. Base Hall of FUT Player Items are among the major rewards available through the system, giving players a way to obtain these special cards through Gallery progression rather than relying on traditional packs.
Different Hall of FUT players require different amounts of Tokens, so it is worth deciding what type of player you actually want before spending your balance.
If you are targeting a specific player, calculate the number of Tokens required first and then work backward through the Gallery Sets.
The Best Way to Build Tokens Efficiently
A simple routine works well:
- Check your existing club for easy Sets.
- Complete Sets that require cards you already own.
- Activate Tags wheneverpossible.
- Focus on cheap Sets that provide useful Token rewards.
- Buy missing players only when the upgrade is worthwhile.
- Grade the Set.
- Sell transferable players after they have been recorded.
- Regrade Sets later when better cards become available.
- Save Tokens for the Hall of FUT player you actually want.
Do not rush into expensive Sets just because they show a large maximum Token reward. New Gallery Sets and new Player Items can change which Sets are efficient over time.
Can You Get Hall of FUT Cards Without Spending Real Money?
Yes. Gallery Tokens themselves are earned through gameplay and Gallery progression rather than directly purchasing the Hall of FUT cards with real money.
You may still need players, coins or time to complete Sets, so “free” does not necessarily mean zero effort or zero in-game cost. However, the system gives you a path toward Hall of FUT rewards without depending on opening paid packs.
If you manage your club carefully, even players obtained through normal rewards can contribute to your Token balance.
The most important rule is simple: do not waste good Gallery opportunities.
Check your Sets regularly, use First Owner cards when they can activate useful Tags, and prioritize Sets where the Token reward makes sense compared with the cost of reaching the required Grade.
You also do not need to permanently keep every player used for Gallery. Once an eligible card has been recorded, selling it can free up your squad and return coins to your club.
With smart buying, selling and regrading, you can gradually build a Token balance and work toward Hall of FUT rewards while keeping your spending under control. Even if you are saving for cheap FC 27 Coins, understanding the Gallery system can help you get much more value from the cards already passing through your club.
